FLOW

Noor, a 26-year-old photographer is compelled to reexamine her well-defined identity on meeting an unsuspecting boy, Kabir at a neighbors party

Why Flow?

Flow sprouted from the observation that every snowflake, every leaf, and every granule of sand is unique, is different and yet we humans expect each other to be and act the same and fit into the same box. But on further investigating the thought, God guided me to the fact that the prisons we hide behind are no longer in society’s hands, it’s our own attachment and deep association with the limitations plastered upon us at a young age that compel us to stay imprisoned.

Flow

We are a force of nature. Without a form.. raw.. and .. wild.. yet fluid, created to flow, to change shapes, to run free…

But our fluidity has been contained.. We’ve been poured into a glass, a glass called society. This glass confines our thoughts… Our feelings… Deciding for us how to behave… What to want... Whom to love…
I broke it though, now I flow... Freely.

Wait, but had I poured myself into another glass? A glass created by me? Had I confined my own fluidity? Have I limited myself with my own labels?

I’ve broken through the preconceptions of society and then have caged myself in one of my own makings. Maybe there shouldn’t be any labels and categories, not even the ones we create for ourselves. We are a force of nature… Raw and wild…

The voice-over that was never made it to the film

You’re welcome :P
